Life at the periphery: mechanobiology of the cell surface
Following the virtual event in 2021, this hybrid symposium taking place on June 12-15, 2023 in Heidelberg focused on the mechanics of cell surfaces aims to bring together researchers from diverse fields of life sciences who share an interest in the dynamic processes occurring at the cellular surface. The primary emphasis will be on emerging technologies that support the study of cell walls, cytoskeletal structures, and membrane biology, including both in vitro and in vivo systems. Additionally, this symposium will explore approaches that integrate molecular biology with computational and biophysical methods.
