From July 6–10, 2026, we had the pleasure of visiting the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune as part of the Microscopy and Image Analysis Course 2026.

During this course, Martin introduced the MMI CellCut technology for the precise and gentle isolation of single cells and larger regions of interest (ROIs). In a dedicated workshop session, he presented the capabilities of CellCut to students, researchers, and staff members at IISER Pune, demonstrating how the technology supports advanced workflows in single cell analysis and spatial biology.

It was inspiring to engage with the participants, discuss their research projects, and exchange ideas on how targeted cell isolation can support new approaches in microscopy and molecular analysis.

We would like to sincerely thank the organisers, especially Santosh Podder, for the excellent organisation, the warm welcome, and the opportunity to be part of this inspiring scientific event.
