MMI Workshop – Finding the “ONE”

Jan 01-01, 2026

About the workshop

This immersive 3-day workshop offers a practical introduction to advanced techniques in single-cell spatial biology using the CellCut Laser Microdissection System. Participants will gain hands-on experience in precisely isolating single cells, defined regions of interest (ROIs), and even subcellular compartments unlocking new insights into the complex architecture of biological tissues. The workshop presents the CellCut system, enabling both high-throughput automated laser microdissection (LMD) into 96-well plates and flexible collection into single tubes.

December 1-13, 2026
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
MMI Research Center Zurich, Switzerland

Important Information

For laser microdissection, Membrane Slides are required, as tissue samples (e.g., FFPE) must be mounted on them. If you wish to cut your own samples during the workshop, you will need these slides. We are happy to provide them to you before the workshop—simply indicate your request in the registration form.

Membrane slides can also be collected directly at the VIB from Nikky Corthout:
